Walking/Biking
Walking or biking into town is easy and beautiful on a nice day. It is approx. 1.5 miles (or 20 minutes walking) to reach the downtown section and town Boardwalk. For services such as groceries or laundry we recommend either of the two local cab services, $6.00 to go anywhere in town.
Golf Cart Rentals
Colonial Beach is known as "Golf Cart Town!"
You may reserve one in advance by calling Dustin at (804) 761-1594 (There is a reasonable fee.)
Town Trolley
The Colonial Beach Trolley runs from May through September and makes about 20 stops along it's route. Costs 25 cents! What a great way to get around town. (804) 224-0175

The marina’s land mass provides a natural, safe harbor even in the foulest of weather. Dockage is available for vessels up to 100 feet in length and 8 feet of draft. Fuel dock, Pump-out station, 50 amp or 30 amp electrical services and municipal water hook-ups are available. Enjoy our new floating docks, on-site seafood restaurant, natural beaches, and *renovated* bath house as well. Transportation into town is easy whether it be walking, biking, cab service, local weekend trolley or golf cart rental!
